
COUNCIL MEMBERSHIP
The Guam DD Council is composed of 28 members from across the island, who are appointed by the Governor with the recommendation of Council members and staff.
COMPOSITION
Minimum 60% of membership MUST include people with I/DD, or immediate family members or guardians of children and adults with I/DD

UCEDD: Guam Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research, and Service (CEDDERS)
Special Education: Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (Division of Special Education, GDOE)
Vocational Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, DISID)
Aging: Older Americans Act of 1965 (Division of Senior Citizens, DPHSS)
Medicaid: Title XIX of Social Security Act (Bureau of Healthcare Financing Administration, Division of Public Welfare, DPHSS)
Maternal and Child Health Program: Title V of Social Security Act (Bureau of Family Health and Nursing Services, Division of Public Health, DPHSS)
